These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Upframe (the "Service"), provided by Security Tech OÜ ("we", "us", "our"). By installing, launching, or otherwise using Upframe, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Upframe is also licensed to you under Apple’s Standard License Agreement; where the two differ, Apple’s agreement applies to the licence itself.
1. Acceptance of Terms
You agree to these Terms by accessing or using the Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not install or use Upframe.
2. Permitted Use
You must use the Service lawfully, comply with all applicable local laws and Apple App Store requirements, and refrain from interfering with, disrupting, reverse engineering, or attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems.
3. Your Videos, Your Rights
You keep all rights to the videos you open in Upframe and to the enhanced results. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use, edit and share the videos you enhance, including any people, music or third-party material in them. Do not use the Service to create misleading or unlawful content, or to infringe anyone else’s rights.
4. About AI Enhancement
Upframe uses on-device AI to rebuild detail, add in-between frames and enlarge video. The result is a new rendering based on the original, not a recovery of information that was never recorded: fine details, text and faces may differ from reality, and fast movement can show artifacts. Do not rely on enhanced video as evidence or as an exact record of events. Enhancement time and results depend on the video and on your Mac.
5. Free Features and Upframe Pro
Upframe is free to try with Fast and Bounce. Upframe Pro unlocks the AI enhancement up to 4K, smoother motion, slow motion and batches, and is offered as an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly) or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Features included in each option are described in the app and may change as the app is updated.
6. Subscriptions, Purchases, and Billing
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. All billing, refunds and renewals are handled by Apple in accordance with its terms; we cannot issue refunds directly.
7. Intellectual Property
Security Tech OÜ and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including all software, AI models, design, text, graphics, and branding, except where third parties hold rights. No rights are granted to you other than the limited right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
8. Third-Party Services
Upframe relies on platform providers such as Apple for distribution, purchases and system frameworks. We are not responsible for any outages, policy modifications, or terms imposed by such third parties.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Security Tech OÜ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including, without limitation, loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Keep your own copies of videos that matter to you.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time when necessary for user protection, system security, or legal compliance, or if you violate these Terms.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective upon posting on this page with a revised "Last modified" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
