These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Leakless (the "Service"), provided by Security Tech OÜ ("we", "us", "our"). By installing, launching, or otherwise using Leakless, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Leakless is also licensed to you under Apple’s Standard License Agreement; where the two differ, Apple’s agreement applies to the licence itself.
1. Acceptance of Terms
You agree to these Terms by accessing or using the Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not install or use Leakless.
2. Permitted Use
You must use the Service lawfully, comply with all applicable local laws and Apple App Store requirements, and refrain from interfering with, disrupting, reverse engineering, or attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems.
3. Your Files, Your Responsibility
You keep all rights to the files you check in Leakless and to the clean copies it creates. Use the Service only on files you own or are allowed to handle. Do not use it to remove copyright notices, licence information, digital rights management data, or any information you are legally or contractually required to keep, and do not use it to hide evidence or to mislead anyone about where a file came from.
4. What a Check Can and Cannot Find
Leakless looks for hidden data in the file types it supports - documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDFs, photos, ZIP archives and the other formats listed in the app - and reports what it finds. File formats are complex and change over time, so we do not warrant that a check finds every piece of hidden information in every file. Some things are pointed out rather than removed, and the app says so: for example the source data behind a pivot table, black boxes laid over text instead of a real redaction, macros and form field values. Fix those in the app that made the file.
5. Clean Copies
A clean copy is a new file. Leakless keeps what everyone sees on the page and removes the hidden layers you choose; your original file is not changed unless you choose to replace it yourself. Removing hidden data can change how a file behaves in other apps - for example formulas that pointed to a removed sheet, or comments a colleague still needed. Open and review the clean copy before you send it. You decide what to share and with whom, and you are responsible for the files you send.
6. Free Features and Leakless Pro
Checking files is free, as often as you like, and your first 3 clean copies are free. Leakless Pro unlocks unlimited clean copies, several files at once and ZIP archives. Features included in each option are described in the app and may change as the app is updated.
7. Purchases and Billing
Leakless Pro is a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Where Apple’s Family Sharing is available, the purchase can be shared with the members of your family group under Apple’s rules. You can restore the purchase on your devices from the app. All billing, refunds and Family Sharing are handled by Apple in accordance with its terms; we cannot issue refunds directly.
8. Intellectual Property
Security Tech OÜ and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including all software, design, text, graphics, sample files and branding, except where third parties hold rights. No rights are granted to you other than the limited right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
9. Third-Party Services
Leakless relies on platform providers such as Apple for distribution, purchases and system frameworks, and works with file formats defined by third parties. We are not responsible for any outages, policy modifications, format changes, or terms imposed by such third parties.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Leakless helps you spot and remove hidden data; it is not legal advice and not a substitute for a professional review of sensitive documents.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Security Tech OÜ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including, without limitation, loss of data, disclosure of information that remained in a file, loss of revenue, or business interruption arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Keep your own copies of files that matter to you.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time when necessary for user protection, system security, or legal compliance, or if you violate these Terms.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective upon posting on this page with a revised "Last modified" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
