KeyPulse displays your keyboard on screen, which makes privacy the whole point rather than an afterthought. We do not collect or store any personal information, and the app is built to run entirely on your Mac.

This Privacy Policy describes what we don't collect, how your keystrokes stay on your device, and what very limited data is handled by Apple during purchases.

1. We Do Not Identify You
KeyPulse does not collect your name, email address, IP address, or any identifiers. There is no account, and you can use the app completely anonymously.

2. Your Keystrokes Stay On Your Device
What you type never leaves your Mac. Key presses are read only to draw the on-screen overlay and are discarded as the trail fades. Nothing you type is uploaded, transmitted, synced, or written to a log or transcript file.

3. Input Monitoring, And Nothing Else
KeyPulse requests the macOS Input Monitoring permission so it can see key presses. It never requests Accessibility, so it cannot click or type on your behalf. macOS asks for the permission the first time you switch the visualizer on, and you can revoke it in System Settings > Privacy & Security at any time.

4. Secure Input
When macOS turns on Secure Input for a password field, the system stops delivering key events to KeyPulse. Passwords and other protected fields therefore never reach the overlay. KeyPulse shows an on-screen notice in that situation instead of silently going blank.

5. Local Statistics
KeyPulse can keep local counters - keys per minute, streaks, keys today and all time, recent commands and most-used combinations. These are stored only on your Mac, are never transmitted anywhere, can be switched off in Settings, and can be erased with a single click.

6. No Internet Required
KeyPulse works fully offline. The app does not need an internet connection to run, and it does not transmit your activity anywhere.

7. Purchases
If you choose to unlock KeyPulse Plus, the transaction is securely handled by Apple via their in-app purchase and subscription system. We do not see or store any of your billing data.

8. No Tracking
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising frameworks, or cookies. We do not track your usage behavior, nor do we collect metrics on how you use KeyPulse.

9. Security
Because your keystrokes and statistics stay on your device, there is minimal risk of breaches or leaks. We rely on Apple's secure APIs and infrastructure.
